A complete connection record needs more than a clip name

Use the worksheet to preserve the exact system, supplied board and installation conditions behind a compatibility question. A clip that looks like the reference image is not thereby a verified match. Keep source-backed requirements separate from observations about the material in hand.

Resolve the interface in separate fields

Record the supplied profile and drawing reference, species and drying condition where required, support material, fastener and accessory identity, exposure and board role. Installed gap, groove dimensions and clip thickness are different fields; one cannot stand in for another.

Explain what prevents a result

Attach each missing requirement to its component or condition. If the board profile is unknown, keep the interface pending even when the fastener system is identified. A conditional result should retain its documented condition rather than becoming an unqualified approval in an exported record.
